Reels by Lyon, based in Abuja, Nigeria, runs this website, the 21 Days Mobile Filmmaker course, and our booking services. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it.

What we collect

Your name, email address, phone number and Instagram handle when you register for a course or make a booking.
Payment confirmation details, such as a payment reference. We never see or store your card number. Card payments are handled by Paystack.
If you sign in with Google, your name and email address as provided by Google. We do not receive your Google password or access any other part of your Google account.
Basic device information (a device label and the dates you signed in) for course students, so we can enforce the two device limit on each account.
Course progress, such as which lessons you have watched.

How we use it

To create your account and give you access to the course you paid for.
To confirm bookings and payments, and to send you confirmation emails.
To protect the course content from account sharing.
To contact you about your registration, booking or class.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising by other companies.

Who handles your data

We use trusted services to run the website: Supabase (secure database and sign in), Paystack (payments), Netlify (website hosting), Make (automated emails) and Google (optional sign in and email delivery). They process data only to provide those services.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account or booking is active and for as long as needed for record keeping. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing us. If you ask us to delete your account, you will lose access to the course.

Security

Your data is stored in a protected database with access controls, and connections to the website are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to limit who can see your information.
